SYMPTOMS

The following error message is received and logged when attempting to [Regenerate defaults] for Processing Rules. This occurs when attempting operation for global as well as matter-specific Processing Rules.

CAUSE

One of the following keys in the the web.config file in the '\Program Files (x86)\ZyLAB\EDiscovery\Ediscoveryservice' folder is either missing, misspelled, or is assigned an invalid value:

InheritedMetadataFields
SourcePathDirectorySeparator
SourcePathPathSeparator
SourcePathField
