Unexpected fields sorting in the "Document Properties" window in ZyFIND, Information Management Platform 6.4 or earlier.

SYMPTOMS

On opening the fields of a document from the ZyRESULT result list in ZyFIND, an unexpected sorting is applied to the fields. This unexpected sorting only applies to the "Document Properties" window in ZyFIND.

CAUSE

The first field in the index Fields Definitions will be sorted in alphabetical order based on its delimiter value. All other fields will not.

RESOLUTION

This is a known behaviour. This unexpected sorting only occurs when viewing the fields in the "Document Properties" window in ZyFIND and does not have any impact on the actual Fields Definitions. You can safely ignore this.
