SYMPTOMS
When performing a search and then opening any document from the result list, you may receive an error message 'The page can not be found.'
CAUSE
The problem may be with Internet Explorer temporary files that will fail to refresh causing the page not to be displayed.
RESOLUTION
You will have to perform a browser history cleanup to overcome this problem.
In Internet Explorer select Tools and then choose Internet Options.
In the popup window of Internet Options select Delete under the Browser history section.
This will display a new popup tab where you will have to select the following:
- Preserve Favorites website data
- Temporary internet files
- Cookies
- History
Once you have selected the above options click on Delete. You will be returned to the previous popup where you click on OK.
Restart the browser
