When processing a large multi-document or irregular scan job via the ZySCAN NT service, the service crashes and halts during the OCR processing stage of the scan job.
Certain scan jobs may contain large or irregular documents that can take longer than normal to process. This may cause the ZySCAN NT Service to timeout.
Use the following steps to edit the ZySCAN NT Service settings:
- In ZySCAN, click the job menu.
- Select ZySCAN NT Service from the list.
- Increase both the Time Out Value and Shutdown Time Limit to a value higher than that of the default.
- Click OK.
- Close ZySCAN.
- Create and process an automated scan job.
