Some Keyfield values don't show in ZyFIND search results searching multiple indexes

SYMPTOMS

When searching multiple indexes in zyfind or Web client keyfield values do not show for for one or more index but do show for others even though the keyfield name appears to be the same.

CAUSE

This can be caused by upper case lower case mismatch of the name of the key field. For example:

card_number
vs
CARD_NUMBER

Please note both keyfield values will show in the document and will be searchable. The keyfield tags themselves are NOT case sensitive. The display of the name in ZyFIND\Webclient however ARE case sensitive. So the values show up in document but don't display in the result list.

RESOLUTION

Change the "Name" definition for the indexes that don't match for example if card_number is desired change all indexes with CARD_NUMBER to card_number.   No rebuilding of index or reindex is required the change will take place immediately.
