Load File: text files not showing as child references in Legal Review

SYMPTOMS

Text files referenced together with TIF files in a Concordance load file collection are not linked in Legal Review after a collection is processed.

CAUSE

'image/tiff' is not listed in the 'KnownFamilyTypes' key of the appSettings section in the '..\Program Files (x86)\ZyLAB\EDiscovery\LegalReview\Review_Standalone\ZyLAB.EDiscovery.Review.Standalone.WinService.exe.config' file or there is a space separating FamilyTypes in the configuration line of the same key causing the family types in the configuration line after the space to be ignored.

RESOLUTION

• Open ZyLAB.EDiscovery.Review.Standalone.WinService.exe.config. It is recommended to make a copy for backup purposes.
• Remove the invalid space or add  image/tiff to the 'KnownFamilyTypes' key and save the file.
• Restart the 'ZyLAB Processing Service' and 'ZyLAB Legal Review Standalone Service' services.
• Create a new Matter using the same load files that were previously not properly grouping files as part of the same family.
