SYMPTOMS
You notice an error message in the NSF extractor actions in Legal Processing: Failed to initialize Domino session.
CAUSE
Most likely Lotus Notes and eDiscovery were installed by different users (accounts), i.e. Lotus Notes was installed by the main user and the eDiscovery bundle services were installed using a different (administrative) account.
RESOLUTION
- Log on to the node in your cluster that is configured to extract NSF archives (the system that has the ZyLAB.EDiscovery.Processors.NsfToMsgExtractor installed).
- Go to the Lotus Notes Data folder, e.g.: .\Users\account1\AppData\Local\Lotus\Notes and ensure the path is changed to .\Users\account2\AppData\Local\Lotus\Notes.
- To be able to succesfully process the NSF archives you have to copy (not move) the folder (as listed above) from account1 to account2.
