SYMPTOMS
Legal Processing TIFF producer actions fail with message: Failed to initialize image processor. ERR_PROT_CANT_RUN_LICENSE SWER-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx ERR_PROT_NO_FREE_LICENSE_VOUCHERS.
CAUSE
eDiscovery Legal Processing starts double the number of executeperformers as the number of cores on the processing node, regardless of the number of cores in the Global Professional OCR license. This means that some OCR tasks are assigned to the OCR node but fail due to no available core. A build-in retry mechanism will attempt to retry the tasks but depending on the number of cores available and the number of cores the license allows it might be that tasks still fail. This will especially be the case if you have a high number of cores on the processing node and only a few (or one) licensed cores for Global Professional OCR.
RESOLUTION
- You can reschedule/restart the failing TIFF Producer actions.
- You can increase the number of licensed cores for the Global Professional OCR engine. Note: the more cores are licensed, the more OCR actions can be completed in a shorter time span
