If you encounter problems while archiving you can not add option -d to your command line.

SYMPTOMS

If you encounter problems while archiving (using ZyIndexImport) you can not add option -d to your command line. This option enables logging of ZyIndexImport.exe. The logfile 'ZyIndexImport.log' is not written to the temporary folder as specified in the 'TEMP' environment variable when multiple instances of ZyIndexImport are running.

CAUSE

There is a current limitation that does not allow to logging component to execute.

RESOLUTION

Instead you should use the generic logging component and open the zyimage.logger.config

• This file can be found on C:\Program Files (x86)\ZyLAB\Information Management Platform\Bin\)
• Set the level value to DEBUG.

The DEBUG Level designates fine-grained informational events that are most useful to log events in the ZyIndexImport application.
