How to disable the Admin button in the Web Client for users in "Everyone" group

SYMPTOMS

The Admin button in the webclient will give you access to following web-server pages:

• Monitor WebServer
• Security
• Services Manager
• Workflow Management
• ZyALERT

CAUSE

Not applicable.

RESOLUTION

Within ZyINDEX | Security | ZyLAB information Management Platform Security, the security settings can be configured.

By default the "Everyone" group is a member of the ZyIMAGE Administrator group. To make the required changes:

• Open ZyINDEX.
• Go to Security | General | Groups | Available Groups
• Select the ZyIMAGE administrator and in the "system account column" click the icon "Add and remove subgroups"
• Uncheck the box for subgroup "Everyone", once you hit OK, you remove "Everyone" from the ZyIMAGE Administrators group.
• Click [OK].
