Index Series Templates are used to automatically create new indexes (using cutoffs triggered by time or size).
Using Index Series Templates is very convenient when you want to periodically create a new index based on the same settings.

RESOLUTION
- Go to ZyINDEX > Build
Go to File > Open.
Select the index, on which the Index Series template must be based.
Click OK. Go to Build > Save as template.
Enter a name for the Index Series template.
Select 'Save as index series'.
Define the Time or Size of Cutoff.
- The Time settings creates a new index in the series in periods of Weeks, Months or Years.
A new index in a series is then created starting from that interval from the date the template was created.
Choose the period that best suits your situation. - The 'Size' settings creates a new index when the current index in the series reaches the set limit.
You can specify the limit in megabytes to the size that best suits the capability of your system and the performance of the index.
The index is converted to a series template, and the Timer Service is activated to create new indexes in the series according to the cutoff rules
When the cutoff limit is reached a new sub-folder is created for the subsequent new index in the series.
A new active index is created as soon as the Index Series template is used.
