"ZyNET error: No Indexes Selected" in web client even though an index for the Web Client has been assigned in ZyINDEX.
This problem may occur when permissions are incorrectly set or not sufficient.
- For ZyLAB "Advanced Security", ZyNET.exe is run anonymous typically with a service account behind it. This is configured in Internet Information Services (IIS).
- If this user is not able to access the index definition file you can get the "No Indexes Selected" error in the web client.
- Verify whether the access permissions are sufficient to access the index location on the file system
- Additionally both Windows authentication and anonymous can be applied to ZyNET.exe in IIS. Disable the Windows authentication or be sure the Windows users logging in to the webserver also have permissions to the index directories.
