SYMPTOMS
The following errors are logged in the Hapi.log log file when building a HAPI XML Wrapper index that points to Custom Data Folders:
[0x0000059c] DEBUG HapiToolkit - ZYADOCS.C line:366
[0x0000059c] DEBUG HapiToolkit - 0. ICQMAKE.C line(307) error(1104:BTfindEqErr) errno(2:No such file or directory)
[0x0000059c] DEBUG HapiToolkit - 1. IMMKENT.C line(331) error(1534:ICmakeEntryErr)
[0x0000059c] DEBUG HapiToolkit - 2. IMGNEXT.C line(227) error(7031:IMmakeEntryErr)
[0x0000059c] DEBUG HapiToolkit - 3. IMDOCS.C line(333) error(7019:IMgetNextErr)
[0x0000059c] DEBUG HapiToolkit - 4. IMDOCS.C line(168) error(7028:IMinternalErr)
[0x0000059c] DEBUG HapiToolkit - 5. IMINDEX.C line(224) error(7022:IMindexDocsErr) errno(2:No such file or directory)
Both Quick and Add build operations fail with the same errors: (.\Programdata\ZyLAB\debug.log)
CAUSE
The index is corrupt.
In this case, the index is pointing to Custom Data Folders, including a folder synchronized with Dropbox. Corruption may have been caused by a conflict between ZyINDEX build and Dropbox Sync operations.
RESOLUTION
- Erase and rebuild the index following the steps in the "How to erase and rebuild a HAPI index" Knowledge Base article.
- Alternatively, rename the "\ZyLAB Data\Indexes\<Index_Name>" directory to serve as a backup copy and create the same index from scratch.
- Make sure to take note of all index settings so that the new index is an exact copy of the original one.
