ZyNET error: The search engine could not open the index you requested

SYMPTOMS

When you perform a search operation using the ZyLAB Webclient the following error is displayed:

ZyNET error: The search engine could not open the index you requested.<BR>\nFor indices residing on a network, this error is often caused because of insufficient rights for the <I>system account</I>. (error number 0x80040C9C)<br>Error info: Error 3228: Error opening plugin

CAUSE

The DatabaseFields Module selected in the index caused an issue.

The database fields connection could not be established.
Usually the SQL server is offline or access has been denied.

RESOLUTION

• Reestablish the connection with a valid operation SQL database.
• Reboot or reindexing is not required after restoring the proper SQL database communication
