In the cluster tab in Legal Processing you can observe your nodes that are part of the eDiscovery cluster. When a processing service is contacting the central eDiscovery service, the last activity of that processing service is updated. It may happen that a node or multiple nodes in the cluster are displayed with a Warning or Error notification.
If the last activity of a processing service exceeds more than 30 min - a warning message (yellow icon with exclamation mark) is displayed.
If the last activity of a processing service exceeds more than 120 min - an error message (red circle with a cross) is displayed
If a warning or error message is displayed it means that the processing service cannot connect to the central eDiscovery service. To trouble shoot you may need to logon to the node that is affected and correct any problem that is present. There may be a variety of root causes of why the processing service cannot connect to the central eDiscovery service; network related problems, problems related to the account that runs the service, a firewall blocks the service to communicate with the central service, your anti-virus solution blocks executing the connection, etc.
