Error when checking in matter: Cannot load template ediscoveryLR from templatepath \\Platform\ZyLAB Data\ZyINDEX Templates\ediscoveryLR

SYMPTOMS

When checking in a matter you get an error similar to the following:

Parameter name: template</message>

CAUSE

This is related to a missing template or incorrect path to the templates.

RESOLUTION

The folder containing the index template must exist in the "Index Template root directory".  The index template root directory can be seen in ZyINDEX global settings or by checking the following key in the registry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ZyLAB\ZyBUILD\Preferences Value:TemplateRoot

If this folder is missing or if the root path is incorrect you will get an error similar to the following:
<message xml:lang="en-US">Cannot load template ediscoveryLR from templatepath \\Platform:\ZyLAB Data\ZyINDEX Templates\ediscoveryLR&#xD;
Parameter name: template</message>

Note the &#xD; at the end is a symptom and not the cause --there are no extra characters in the folder name in any config file.

To fix this error make sure that the index template is in the Index Template root directory or correct the Index Template root directory path to point to where your index templates are.
